OUR HISTORY
For the next ten years, GearGrid would expand its products and quickly became a market leader in the U.S. Fire Service for the storage of firefighting equipment, including PPE, hose, cylinder and miscellaneous gear and equipment. During that time, both small volunteer fire departments and large metropolitan fire departments such as the Fire Department of New York (FDNY), Los Angeles Fire Department and Houston Fire would become some of GearGrid’s loyal customers in the United States.
In 2008, GearGrid made their products available internationally and continued to add lines of storage solutions for the Athletic, Law Enforcement and Automotive Industries. With continued product development and exciting growth, GearGrid will continue to provide a top quality product that is 100% made in the USA.
OUR STORY
With over 100 years in manufacturing excellence, GearGrid prides itself on building all of its products with quality materials and labor in the USA. Our manufacturing facility has state-of-the-art technology, an in-house design team, an on-site powder coating department and a dedication to providing quality products and service comparable to none.
Since 1921, GearGrid, formally known as Mid-Minnesota Wire, has focused on designing and building durable custom retail displays and wire forms for retail display and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) markets. In 1997, a new product was created at GearGrid. This product was a firefighting storage unit that became an internationally sold product. Eventually GearGrid expanded the division to additional firefighting storage solutions, athletic, public works, automotive, construction and tactical storage solutions, in addition to providing custom retail displays and wire forms.
GearGrid products can be found in the USA, and most European countries, including: Germany, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, and Spain, as well as Canada, and Middle East and Asian Pacific markets. As always, GearGrid products are made with the highest dedication to quality and will always be 100% made in the USA.
